Since 1995 he had been concerned with Fetternar, a medieval palace in north-east Scotland. He was also involved with The Scottish Castle Survey. A dedicated historian and castle person, he will be sadly missed. [This message has been edited by Peter (edited 12-12-2002).] LevanPeter Bit of news I meant to mention before.
Nicholas Bogdan, archaeologist & architectural historian, died a few months ago aged 55, from a heart attack.Levan I agree. Here's a useful obituary in the Guardian:
